David Fitzsimmons to speak at National Real estate conference
Editorial cartoonist Dave Fitzsimmons will be a keynote speaker at the National Association of Realtors annual conference on April 2, 2006.
Don’t miss this special event featuring keynote speaker Dave Fitzsimmons. Fitzsimmons is a Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist for the Arizona Sun newspaper. As a political commentator, Fitzsimmons might appear cynical and irreverent. But when he speaks, his love of family, history, and country come through loud and clear.
Update: It has been noted in the comments that Dave is NOT a Pulitzer Prize winner - which has been confirmed with the Pulitzer web site. You can see a list of all the winners since 1922 at the Pulitzer web site.

Dave Fitzsimmons is a great cartoonist, but unfortuntely NOT a Pulitzer Prize winner. He was a nominated finalist in 1988, the year that Doug Marlette won it.

Thanks John for catching that. I’ve confirmed it with the Pultizer web site and have updated the posting to reflect the new information.

Good catch. On my promotional materials I proudly note that I was a Pulitzer Finalist in 1988. The inaccurate claim that I was a Pulitzer Prize winner is my host’s error.
