Gary Varvel takes Best Editorial Cartoonist (in his state)
The AAEC is reporting that Gary Varvel was named Best Editorial Cartoonist in the Hoosier State Press Association. You can check out Varvel’s cartoons on the Indiana Star or Cagle
Gary Varvel was named Best Editorial Cartoonist in the Hoosier State Press Association contest earlier this month. This was the 9th time in 10 years Varvel has taken the prize. Mark Coomer, of the Evansville Courier & Press took Second, and Mark Brayer, Daily Journal placed Third.
