NBA Star makes it into the funny papers
The Sun Sentinel is reporting that “Rob Cabrera, cartoonist of the nationally syndicated Silo Roberts comic strip that runs in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and several other newspapers, will feature the Heat guard in Sunday’s strip.”
In the upcoming strip, Cabrera features Wade’s crossover dribble literally undressing an opponent.
Wade’s eyes lit up when presented with the strip after Tuesday’s practice.
“Man, that’s something. I like this. This is excellent,” he said with a childlike grin. “For somebody to take time to think this all out, this is great. I don’t read the Sunday comics anymore, but as a kid I always did. Maybe I’ll get back into it now, with this.”
