Editorial cartoon tainting jury pool in Alabama?
A Mobile County school board member is on trial for driving under the influence and his attorney has filed a motion to move the trial out of the county because:
Briskman said there have been numerous “negative” stories, editorials and, in particular, editorial cartoons in the Mobile Register that “portrayed (Thomas) in a light that essentially ridiculed him.”
The editorial cartoonist for the Mobile Register is J.D. Crowe
