Award-winning Iranian artist calls for more support of cartoons
I always wondered what cartooning would be like in a nation where your family or yourself could found dead because of a cartoon. According to this article, Iranian cartoonist Majid Amini is doing well (though he says it could be better).
TEHRAN, Nov. 19 (MNA) — Iranian cartoonist Majid Amini won third prize at the 22nd Aydin Dogan International Cartoon Competition held in June in Turkey, the Persian service of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported on Saturday.
