Cartoons and Cocktails
Tonight is the annual Cartoons and Cocktails - the largest auction of original editorial cartoons by the top editorial cartoonists in the nation. From a press release on Newswire:
Cartoons & Cocktails, D.C.’s largest auction of original political cartoons by the nation’s top cartoonists. News personalities will auction dozens of cartoons, while guests enjoy an open bar, tapas and dessert buffet. More than 100 cartoons also will be available through a silent auction.
This event is open to the public. Tickets are $40 and will be available at the door or can be charged by calling the National Press Club’s ticket hotline (202/662-7501) in advance.
