Boston Globe drops Garfield
Bad news for Boston Garfield fans. The Boston Globe has dropped the Sunday Garfield feature. This action comes a month after dropping the daily feature.
It’s at least the third major-market newspaper to cancel Jim Davis’ cat comic in 2005. The other two were The Star-Ledger of Newark, N.J. (E&P Online, Oct. 2) and the Los Angeles Times (E&P Online, Jan. 5).
